Kennelly Hosts ND Bar Corporate Section CLE

Our clients know that Kennelly Business Law is a go-to firm for business law in North Dakota. That expertise is vital to their success, whether on specific transactions or on an ongoing basis. However, this particular area of law is complex and can be beset with pitfalls if undertaken by a lesser-experienced practitioner. We’re proud of our expertise and were thrilled to support our colleagues at the North Dakota Bar Association, as our own Chris Kennelly hosted the Corporate Section’s first-ever Continuing Legal Education (CLE) event focused on Business & Corporations Law on December 1, 2016 in Fargo. For a first of its kind, the event was very well attended, welcoming more than 50 lawyers from around North Dakota. In addition to Chris, presenters included Professor Carla Reyes (Business Law and Technology) of Stetson University, Attorney John Williams (ND LLC law) of Fredrickson & Byron, and Professor Eric Johnson (IP issues for Business Law Practitioners) of the University of North Dakota. Of the event, Chris Kennelly had this to say, “The CLE was a great event that exposed our members to some very pertinent areas of law that are evolving on a near-daily basis. The attendees were enthusiastic, engaged, and interested in these topics, and I’m really looking forward to putting together a similar panel of speakers for next year’s event!”
